Patricia Pérez holds a degree in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and a Master's degree in Nanotechnology and Regenerative Medicine from University College London (UCL). During her master's degree she worked on developing a 3D disease model of a diabetic wound. She also worked as a research assistant at The Griffin Institute (UK) developing tissue engineered small intestine scaffolds suitable for transplantation. Currently she is a PhD student in Biotechnology and her research project focuses on developing small intestine constructs through chaotic bioprinting.
