Angélica received her Bachelor Degree as Molecular Biologist from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM) in 2021. During her bachelor, she did professional internships in Hospital Infantil de México Federico Gómez in the laboratory of Developmental Biology. Angélica is a co-author of a scientific review published in an indexed journal, the review is titled "Sources, Characteristics, and Therapeutic Applications of Mesenchymal Cells in Tissue Engineering". She started her Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Tecnológico de Monterrey (2023). Her project is focusing on using stem cells, promoting their differentiation in different cell types for the creation of tissue constructs using 3D chaotic bioprinting. Her interests include molecular biology, tissue engineering, and 3D bioprinting.
