Héctor received his Bachelor degree as Biotechnology Engineer specialized in Molecular Biology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, Campus Querétaro, in 2023. During his undergraduate studies, Héctor gained practical experience as an intern in the Quality Control and Research and Development departments at CYTECSA. Additionally, he participated in the FIRMA XI forum, where he presented a project on the characterization of plasmids carrying PirAB toxins in Vibrio parahaemolyticus. Moreover, Héctor is a co-author of scientific review articles including "Impact of Smoking-Induced Dysregulated Human miRNAs in Chronic Disease Development and Their Potential Use in Prognostic and Therapeutic Purposes" and "The Regulatory Role of MicroRNAs in Common Eye Diseases: A Brief Review." Currently, Héctor is pursuing a Ph.D. in Biotechnology at Tecnológico de Monterrey. His doctoral research is centered on the use of 3D chaotic bioprinting for the production of cultured meat.
