Fabiola Bertani

Born and raised in Veracruz, Mexico, Fabiola is currently studying biomedical engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Her interest in the area of tissue engineering and biomaterials began in her fist class of biology during highschool, however her passions for investigation and learning expands to many other areas of her career. She has been working as a volunteer since december 2022 at the Álvarez-Trujillo lab, partnering with Master's student Jair Mendez on a diabetes-related project focusing on 3D printing, cell culture and genetic engineering. In her free time, she enjoys doing outdoor activities and practicing various sports.
